With gratitude, the Bigfork Soccer Club announces that it is the recipient of a $6,000 Community Grant from the Whitefish Community Foundation! The grant will support equipment purchased for the club including goals, first aid kits, field paint, new soccer balls and rental equipment costs. The club has also benefited from the guidance the Foundation offers to help non-profits better serve their communities.

Whitefish Community Foundation’s grants program helps fund organizations and initiatives where there is a social need and where the results will benefit the community at large. The Bigfork Soccer Club is a nonprofit that has been working to offer youth soccer programs in the Bigfork area since 2006. This is the first time the Bigfork Soccer Club has put in for a Whitefish Community Foundation grant. Many thanks are due to the volunteer fundraising efforts spearheaded by Dr. Norah Morrison who wrote the grant for the club.
