Job Overview
You are the financial coordinator and budget maker for the Bigfork Soccer Club Recreational and Competitive Programs. Working collaboratively with the Club Board Members, Club families, volunteers and other area programs and coaches is essential for tracking incoming and outgoing funds smoothly.

Responsibilities
• Developing and orchestrating budgetary needs based on communication from Board Members, coaches and volunteers
• Helping determine both competitive and recreational income and expenses, including timing
• Helping track program needs with scholarships
• Making deposits and paying bills
• Paying coaches. Coordinating with each head coach on how to split the stipend. Checking with the coaches who usually don’t take any pay to see if they want it this season.
• Tracking which competitive teams attend which extra tournaments, the cost for each team and the amount they fundraised. Communicating the balance due to each coach/team parent.
• Working closely with the club’s bookkeeper to property code transactions
• Monitoring the bank account
• Working with MYSA and using GotSport to reconcile our seasonal bills
• Ensuring the 503© status is current
• Filing the annual report with the Montana Secretary of State
• Working closely with the local tax accountant to ensure taxes are filed properly
• Tracking the budget against actual results
• Collecting mail from local P.O. Box address, which includes bills and sponsorship checks

Qualifications
Strong Communication, commitment to community and strong organizational needs are required. A background in math/accounting/finance strongly encouraged.

Time Commitment
On average, this position requires less than 5 hours of commitment per week with heavier involvement during the start of seasons. This is a year-round volunteer position.
