Competitive – Fall 2026:
Important Dates:
August 23rd – Parent/player meeting, 7pm, on Zoom. Link TBD
August 24th – Practices officially begin
NOTE: Beginning this season, Bigfork Soccer Club is asking parents to volunteer to help keep the club running smoothly. Please see the details below.
The Bigfork Soccer Club offers a competitive soccer option for players looking for a greater level of commitment and offers a more challenging level of play. Players are not guaranteed equal play time at the competitive level, and there is more travel involved. Practices generally run an hour and a half, up to three times per week. Coaches undergo additional training, and each team is required to have one parent go through the referee training program in order to help at a game if needed.
Teams:
Evaluations are held in the spring but you can reach out at bigforksoccer@gmail.com if you missed the evaluations and are still interested in playing for one of the competitive teams. Teams depend on player registration numbers and coaches. We are currently aiming to field three girls teams at the and three boys teams with players ages ranging from U9 to U14.
Dates:
Practices will be held 2-3 days per week with the season running into mid October.
Practice Schedule:
U10 Boys: Monday/Wednesday 5-6:30pm
U14 Boys: Monday/Wednesday 5-6:30pm, Thursday 5-6pm
U10 Girls: Tuesday/Thursday 5-6:30pm
U14 Girls: Tuesdays/Wednesdays/Thursdays 6-7:30pm
Games:
Teams will be playing in local, statewide, and some regional tournaments. Tournament play involves separate fees.
Cost:
$375
Volunteer Hours:
Bigfork Soccer Club asks parents to volunteer for four hours for the first player and two hours for each additional player. Parents and family members can sign up for volunteer opportunities here. These programs are only possible because of the support of our volunteer community. Families that are unable to volunteer or would prefer a buyout option will be charged $75/player.
Referees Required: Each Competitive team is required by the state to have a team referee that has completed the US Soccer Grassroots Referee program, paid for by the BSC. For more information on becoming a certified referee, contact Adam Baumann @ adam.baumann83@gmail.com
Bigfork Soccer Club also offers a recreational program. Check out our RECREATIONAL page for more information.
